We demonstrate our commitment to people and the environment, to develop our business in a sustainable way and being aware of the impact of climate change.
ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT
We are aware that industrial production has an impact on the planet.
In our manufacturing plants, we work in a responsible manner considering the entire life cycle to adopt environmentally friendly practices with the environment in order to reduce our environmental impact to a maximum.
SELECTION OF MATERIALS WITH LOWER ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
- Role: The company has the Certification of FSC Chain of Custody and all the paper used has FSC certification.
- Carton: The boxes and packaging materials used are 100% made with recycled material.
- Vegetable-based inks: These inks reduce the emission of CO2 by up to 80%. Does not contain solvents, contaminants and are made from renewable sources. In addition, they enable quick adjustments in the printing machine and offer brightness and image quality.
- Ink, offset UV: more respectful with the environment in comparison with conventional inks. Does not contain organic solvents, which reduces the release of Vocs into the air.

Reduce THE CONSUMPTION OF PLASTIC
To achieve at least a 30% of ancillary materials for packaging sustainable (recycled or ecological).
GOAL ACHIEVED: In 2024 the packaging material is ecological (made in part or fully from recycled materials or fewer pollutants) he ascended to the 76,77%. (Packaging Total = 9437,34 kg; Packaging Eco = 7245,34 kg)
In 2024 is replaced progressively non-recyclable plastics by more sustainable materials, applying good practices, which allowed us to advance in the use of packaging responsible.

DECREASE THE CONSUMPTION OF PAPER
OFFICEat least a 5% between 2023 And 2024.
Through the implementation of procedures that promote the use of digital documentation, and limited the print everyday documents, YOU HAVE EXCEEDED THE GOAL, reaching a decrease of the 57,09% with respect to consumption in 2023.

DECREASE
At least 2% of the hazardous waste generated in the manufacturing center of Ruperto Chapí / Chueca in 2024.
GOAL ACHIEVED: During the year 2024, the hazardous waste is reduced by 4.45% on the total registered in 2023, surpassing the set target.

Reduce
The environmental goal is to reduce the carbon footprint of the organization (scope 1 and 2) between December 2024 and December 2026, reaching a decrease of 1.5%, equivalent to 8,94 tonnes of CO2e.
To do so is centralized activities in a single work center, reducing internal displacement, optimizing the energy and improving the management of waste, in addition to boosting the awareness of the staff. These measures make it possible to achieve the planned reduction without additional investments and constitute a step towards more ambitious goals of sustainability.

REDUCE
At least 20%, THE GENERATION OF HAZARDOUS WASTE in the manufacturing center of Ruperto CHAPÍ in between years 2019 and 2023.
- GOAL ACHIEVED: decrease 36.32% with respect to the base year 2019.
- PLAN FOR THE MINIMIZATION OF WASTE PERIOD 2020-2023 presented in the ministry of environment, agriculture in the interior date 14/03/2024.

DECREASE
At least 10% the consumption of auxiliary materials plastic packing (shrink, film, tape, packaging) for more options sustainable (recycled / eco) in 2023.
- GOAL ACHIEVED: 22% of the consumption of packaging material in 2023 has been more respectful with the environment.
- Currently we have replaced the plastic tape by tape adhesive Kraft paper for packaging and film from conventional stretch film manual (ECHO STRETCH).

Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in the steady decline of our electric consumption.
REDUCTION OF THE CONSUMPTION OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY
Graphic Zurita has decreased the power consumption, thanks to the implementation of a series of measures:
- Replacement of all luminaires are factory for led lights.
- Improves energy efficiency through the installation of sectional doors and installation of thermostats.
- Environmental awareness: Posters and reinforcement learning.
Next goal: Study of the installation of solar panels.
